Open Call for Visual Artists - New York Breeze
We are reactivating our apartment gallery and looking for 2D visual work for our 5th thematic exhibition about resilience "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in ..."
We accept all visual arts except sculpture: painting, photography, drawing, digital, prints, fiber art, collage, film or video, etc.
Please submit 3-10 pieces for consideration alongside your resume. Maximum size 40"x40" for any painting, print, mixed media etc. and maximum 10 minutes for video. No minimum size, but artists need to submit at least 3 artworks. (Except video artists.)
Submission is open to any artist regardless of the place of residency, nationality, age, at any career stage. (We do not accept student work.)
The artwork must be installation-ready. All works must be for sale. New-York Breeze will not withhold any commission for the sale of the artwork. All sales will be handled by the artists. The application fee is $5. The fee covers the show’s operating expenses. Payment should be sent to newyorkbreeze10455@gmail.com through PayPal.com or Zelle.
Selected artists will be responsible for delivery and pick-up. New York Breeze does not offer insurance for the show.
Artists will receive two emails: a confirmation email upon receipt of submission, and about their status after the selection.
The deadline for submission is Saturday, 11:59pm, April 3, 2021.
Selected artists are announced by Saturday, 11:59pm, April 10, 2021.
Exhibition dates: May 13 - June 10
